Welcome to Sidekick Pro. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Sidekick Pro LLC ("Sidekick Pro," "we," "us," or "our"), a Kansas limited liability company based in Olathe, Kansas. They govern your access to and use of the Sidekick Pro platform, including our website, community forums, educational services, and all related applications and services (collectively, the "Platform").
The short version
- You must be 18 or older to use this Platform.
- You are responsible for your account and the content you post.
- We grant you a license to use the Platform; you grant us a license to display your content.
- Digital product sales are final. Print-on-demand returns are accepted for defective items within 30 days.
- We can update these Terms. We will notify you when we do.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Community Guidelines, and our DMCA Policy. Together, these documents form the complete agreement between you and Sidekick Pro regarding your use of the Platform.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Eligibility and Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Sidekick Pro platform. This is a strict requirement with no exceptions.
By creating an account or using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- You are not prohibited from using the Platform under any applicable law.
- Your use of the Platform will not violate any applicable law or regulation.
If we discover or reasonably believe that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete their data. If you become aware of anyone under 18 using the Platform, please contact us immediately.
3. Account Registration and Responsibilities
Creating Your Account
To access most features of the Platform, you need to create an account through our central identity service. When you register, you must provide a valid email address and choose a display name. You are not required to use your real name. Your single account works across all Sidekick Pro services.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Account security. Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Accurate information. Provide truthful information when creating your account. Your email address must be valid and accessible to you.
- One account per person. You may only maintain one active account. Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions is prohibited.
- Prompt notification. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
Display Names
Your display name is how other members see you on the Platform. Display names must be unique and must comply with our Community Guidelines. We reserve the right to require you to change a display name that is offensive, misleading, impersonates another person, or violates any of our policies.
4. Services We Provide
Sidekick Pro offers a range of services for the ethical non-monogamy community:
- Community forums -- discussion boards where members can share experiences, ask questions, and connect with others in the ENM community.
- Educational courses -- structured learning content on topics related to ethical non-monogamy, relationships, and communication.
- Digital products -- downloadable e-books, guides, workbooks, and other digital content available for purchase.
- Print-on-demand merchandise -- physical products (apparel, accessories, and other goods) produced and shipped through our fulfillment partner.
- Articles and blog content -- free educational and informational content published on our website.

5. User-Generated Content
Your Content
"User Content" means any text, images, links, or other material that you post, upload, or share on the Platform, including forum posts, comments, profile information, and any other contributions.
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by posting User Content on the Platform, you grant Sidekick Pro a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and modify your User Content solely for the purpose of operating, developing, and improving the Platform. This license continues even if you delete your account, but only for User Content that has already been shared with other users (for example, forum posts that others have replied to). If you delete your account, we will remove your User Content where reasonably practicable, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Your Responsibilities for User Content
You are solely responsible for your User Content. By posting content, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to post the content.
- Your content does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
- Your content complies with these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and all applicable laws.
- Your content is not false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent.
Our Rights Regarding User Content
We do not pre-screen all User Content, but we reserve the right (though not the obligation) to:
- Review, monitor, or moderate User Content at our discretion.
- Remove or disable access to any User Content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
- Disclose User Content to law enforcement or other third parties when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, protect our rights, or ensure the safety of our users.

6. Digital Product Purchases
Digital Products
We offer digital products for purchase, including e-books, guides, workbooks, and other downloadable content. When you purchase a digital product, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that product for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, or share purchased digital products with others.
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from digital products.
- Remove any copyright notices or proprietary markings.
- Use digital products for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
Refund Policy for Digital Products
All digital product sales are final.
Because digital products are delivered immediately and cannot be "returned," we generally do not offer refunds. However, we may issue a refund or credit at our discretion if:
- You experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing or downloading the product, and we are unable to resolve it.
- The product was materially different from its description at the time of purchase.
- You were charged in error (such as a duplicate charge).

7. Print-on-Demand Merchandise
How It Works
Our merchandise is produced on demand by a third-party fulfillment partner. When you place an order, the item is printed, produced, and shipped directly to you by our fulfillment partner. Because each item is made to order, production times vary.
Shipping
- Shipping times depend on your location and the product ordered. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed.
- We ship to addresses within the United States and, where available, internationally. International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes, which are your responsibility.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or incorrect shipping addresses provided by you.
Returns and Exchanges
30-day return policy for defective, damaged, or incorrect items
Because our merchandise is made to order, we cannot accept returns for buyer's remorse, incorrect sizing choices, or change of mind. However, we will gladly provide a replacement or refund within 30 days of delivery if your item:
- Arrived damaged or defective (such as printing errors, fabric defects, or production flaws).
- Is the wrong item or size compared to what you ordered.
- Was lost in transit (after a reasonable waiting period).
To initiate a return or exchange, contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and photos of the issue.
Discreet Packaging and Billing
We understand that discretion matters. All packages are shipped in plain, unbranded packaging with no reference to the nature of the contents or the community. Charges on your payment statement will appear as "Sidekick Pro."
8. Payment Terms
- Currency. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
- Payment processing. Payments are processed securely through a PCI DSS-compliant third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers.
- Billing descriptor. Charges will appear on your statement as "Sidekick Pro."
- Taxes. You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, use tax, VAT, or other taxes associated with your purchases, except where we are required by law to collect and remit such taxes.
- Pricing. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been placed and confirmed.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge or cancel your order. We will notify you by email if a payment cannot be processed.
9. Intellectual Property
Our Content
The Platform and its original content (excluding User Content) are owned by Sidekick Pro LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes but is not limited to:
- Website design, layout, and look and feel.
- Text, graphics, logos, icons, and images.
- Articles, blog posts, educational content, and course materials.
- Digital products (e-books, guides, workbooks).
- Software, code, and underlying technology.
- The Sidekick Pro name, logo, and all related trademarks and service marks.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit our content without our prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law (such as fair use).
Your License to Use the Platform
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to:
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content or data from the Platform.
- Frame or mirror any part of the Platform.
- Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform's software.
Copyright Complaints
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on our Platform infringes your copyright, please follow the procedures outlined in our DMCA Policy.
10. Prohibited Uses
Our Community Guidelines describe in detail what is and is not acceptable on the Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to follow those guidelines. In addition to the Community Guidelines, you may not:
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, the Platform's systems, or any connected networks.
- Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure, servers, or networks.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, spiders) to access the Platform without our written permission.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Collect or harvest personal information about other users without their consent.
- Use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam).
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Platform.
- Facilitate or encourage any violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates these prohibitions, including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting violations to law enforcement.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sidekick Pro disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:
- The Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
- Any defects or errors will be corrected.
- The Platform or any content on it is free of viruses or other harmful components.
- The results of using the Platform will meet your expectations.
- User Content posted by other users is accurate, complete, reliable, or appropriate.
Any content, information, or advice obtained through the Platform is for general educational and informational purposes only. You use the Platform and rely on any content at your own risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sidekick Pro LLC, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Platform, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions.
- Statements or conduct of any third party on the Platform.
- Any other matter relating to the Platform.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to Sidekick Pro in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00).
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based (whether contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if Sidekick Pro has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sidekick Pro LLC, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Platform.
- Your User Content.
- Your violation of these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or any applicable law.
- Your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Any dispute between you and another user of the Platform.
We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense.
14. Termination and Account Deletion
Termination by You
You may stop using the Platform at any time. You may request deletion of your account by using the account management features on the Platform or by contacting us at [email protected]. When you delete your account, we will remove your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that:
- You have violated these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or any applicable law.
- Your account poses a security risk to the Platform or other users.
- Your account has been inactive for an extended period.
- Continued provision of the service to you is no longer commercially viable.
Where practicable, we will provide you with notice and an explanation before or promptly after termination. For violations of our Community Guidelines, enforcement follows the process described in those guidelines, including warnings, temporary suspension, and permanent termination.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. The following provisions survive termination: Sections 5 (User-Generated Content license grant), 9 (Intellectual Property), 11 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 12 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Indemnification), 15 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution), and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.
Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued before termination, including any obligation to pay for products or services already purchased.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Informal Resolution First
Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to try to resolve your dispute informally by contacting us at [email protected]. We will try to resolve the dispute informally within 60 days. If the dispute is not resolved within that period, either party may proceed with formal legal action.
Jurisdiction and Venue
Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform must be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in the District of Kansas. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts and waive any objection to inconvenient forum.
Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of this dispute resolution section (except the governing law provision) will be deemed void.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will:
- Update the "Effective Date" and version number at the top of this page.
- Post the revised Terms on the Platform.
- For material changes, notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the Platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Platform after the revised Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may request deletion of your account.
17. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and DMCA Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sidekick Pro regarding your use of the Platform. They supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it will be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. A waiver of any provision is effective only if made in writing and signed by Sidekick Pro.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without your consent in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
Force Majeure
Sidekick Pro will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, power failures, internet disruptions, or third-party service outages.
No Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights. No person other than you and Sidekick Pro has any rights under these Terms.
